New additions to the Schäffer telescopic wheel loader range: Extremely compact and highly flexible
Schäffer set to reveal its new telescopic wheel loader 1622 T at Agritechnica 2025. The machine is based on the compact loader 1622 and incorporates its proven technology and dimensions. This means: Maximum manoeuvrability, high efficiency and an array of applications thanks to a comprehensive range of attachments. The key difference is its reach – boasting a lifting height of 2.83 m, the 1622 T offers brand new possibilities. At the same time, it is one of the most compact telescopic wheel loaders on the market, making it very attractive for farms handling loads in confined spaces.
The 1622 T is the ideal solution for farms operating in restricted manoeuvring environments that still need to achieve a high lifting height. Thanks to its compact design, the machine remains extremely manoeuvrable and can even operate in narrow entryways or tight stables. The telescopic arm also enables the loading of trailers and the stacking of items at greater heights – without compromising on flexibility.
Wide range of applications and simple operation
Schäffer’s extensive range of attachments makes the 1622 T a real all-rounder. Whether buckets, pallet forks, mulchers, straw spreaders or other special attachments – the machine adapts to every task with ease and appeals to customers due to its versatility. Yet another advantage: Designed for operational simplicity, the loader is ideal for farms where the machine is driven by various people. This ensures streamlined processes and maximum productivity.
Technology and comfort as with the 1622
All the technical data corresponds to that of the proven compact loader 1622: The engine delivers up to 16.2 kW (22 hp) and ensures powerful performance with compact dimensions. The hydraulic performance is 28 l/min, which enables use of a wide range of attachments. The overall width and height of the machine start at 0.89 m and 1.99 m respectively – ideal for narrow and low entryways. The loader has a tipping load of roughly 710 kg with one bucket and when the telescopic arm is retracted. In addition, powerful Schäffer axles are installed, providing clear advantages over wheel motors: Greater thrust, improved traction and longer service life with minimal maintenance. This ensures an exceptional degree of reliability and efficiency in daily use. The new telescopic wheel loader 1622 T will be available from the third quarter of 2026.
