At EuroTier in Hanover, Schäffer is showcasing its new products for livestock farms: the telescopic wheel loader 6680 T-3 with 105 hp, a special configuration of the 5680 Z for poultry farms, and the new electric telescopic wheel loader 16e T. These new models cover a broad spectrum, from the powerful diesel machine and the special configuration for poultry farms to the zero-emission electric loader.
6680 T-3: 77 kW / 105 hp for greater thrust and hydraulic performance
The telescopic wheel loader 6680 T-3 will be available with a more powerful engine in future. The new version delivers 77 kW (105 hp); the 6680 T-3 was previously available with 55 kW (75 hp). Torque has increased by 40 per cent from 300 to 420 Nm. Thrust at 40 km/h is up to 45 per cent higher for a much smoother driving experience on inclines. An optional load-sensing working hydraulics system with a flow rate of up to 138 l/min is also available. The dimensions, weights and lifting heights are the same as the previous model, which is still available. The new version will be available from the second quarter of 2027.
5680 Z Poultry Edition: equipped to move poultry from barns and perform everyday barn operations
The wheel loader 5680 Z will be displayed in a special configuration for poultry farms. With a lifting height of 3.40 m, it can reach even high lorry bodies and is suitable for loading and unloading multilayer transport crates. At the same time, it remains very compact with an overall height starting from 2.41 m. Blue working headlights reduce stress to the animals when they are moved from the barn. The SPT (Schäffer Power Transmission) electronic traction drive is fitted as standard and ensures greater efficiency and reduced fuel consumption. A special pallet fork with fork arms that are 1.80 m long ensures that transport crates are loaded safely. The 5680 Z delivers 55 kW (75 hp), has a weight starting from 4,240 kg and a width starting from 1.72 m. The lifting capacity is 2.8 tons, and the working hydraulics can optionally deliver a flow rate of up to 115 l/min thanks to Schäffer Multi High Flow.
16e T: the new electric telescopic wheel loader
With the 16e T, Schäffer is introducing a telescopic wheel loader with electric motor drive that combines the dimensions of the 1622 T diesel model with the electrical characteristics of the compact loader 16e. Reaching a lifting height of 2.83 m and with dimensions starting from 0.89 m wide and 1.99 m high, the loader can fit through even narrow and low barn doors. A 9.6 kW electric motor with a 48 V lithium-ion battery (12.2 kWh) offers emission-free and quiet operation. Genuine Schäffer axles ensure high thrust and traction. The 16e T will be available from the first quarter of 2027.
